A Late 19th Century Elm wine table with a burr elm top. The table stands
on 3off pad feet with small which are attached to cariole legs. The central
stem is a baluster shape with decorative turning both at the top & the
bottom. The top is plain with rounded edge, the whole top is of figured
burr elm that is rare, & looks very attractive. Could be used as
a wine or lamp table. Good condition for an item of 225years old. Dimensions 16in Dia X 27.1/2in high. |

A Georgian Mahogany bookcase secretaire in original condition. The
bookcase stands on bracket feet above which is a bank of 6off drawers & a
secretaire drawer, all drawers have old brass knobs. The secretaire
drawer is half the width of the base on the right-hand side & has
3off long drawers, 2off short drawers & 8off pigeon holes. Above
the base is a bookcase with astragal glazed doors & moulded fixed
cornice, all the glass is original & twinkles with the light (
some cracking to some panes but doesn't detract). Behind the doors
are 5off shelves for books. The secretaire bookcase looks magnificent
as the mahogany has faded to a warm honey colour & would look well
in the right room. |

A 3pc Edwardian mahogany inlaid bedroom suite made by Warings of Lancaster. The suite consists of a triple wardrobe, dressing chest with a shaped beveled mirror & a mahogany topped washstand. The wardrobe has a full length double hanging section below to the left side of this is a shelved section below this are 2off full width drawers with 2off false drawer fronts on the opposite side. The side doors are solid wood with inlaid decoration & the central door houses a dressing mirror The base of the wardrobe are 2off large drawers. The dressing chest stands on tapering square legs above which are 3off drawers, 2off curved jewellery drawers are on the top with an inlaid shaped beveled above. The washstand also stands on square tapering legs with a small full height cupboard on the right & 2off drawers to the left. The mahogany top has a moulding to 3off sides. The suite retains its original brass-wear & is gilded. Dimensions: Wardrobe:- W-75in 190cm

being only 79in high. The top cupboard houses 4off oak lined slides
with mahogany fronts, the doors are matching & are beautifully

of the cupboard. The base stands on the original French bracket feet
with a shaped apron 2 over 3 drawers the two bottom drawers having
plum pudding mahogany veneers , all drawers have the original brass

A superb antique mid Victorian figured mahogany pedestal dressing table.
Each pedestal is supported on castors & each has 4off graduated drawers
with figured mahogany front & 2off original knobs. The centre has
a long drawer that also has figured mahogany front, below this are decorative
carvings to each side of the kneehole. The fiddle back mahogany top is
reverse breakfront in shape & is in excellent condition, mounted
on the top are 3off jewellery drawers & the whole is again reverse
breakfront in shape. the rectangular mirror is supported by superbly
carved supports. The mirror has a decorative hand carved top & also
decoration to both top corners of the mirror. The dressing table is a

A Victorian C1870s figured walnut "Duchess" dressing table.
The table stands on 4 off small bun feet that supports a shaped under
tier from which the front turned legs & the back legs are supported.
The top has a double serpentine frieze that contains a central drawer.
The top is also double serpentine in shape with a shaped moulding around
3 sides, & 6off small drawers with brass handles joined by a central
well shaped lidded glove box. The well carved mirror supports are attached
to the top of the small drawers these support the beveled original mirror
with a shaped top & a small carved decorative top the mirror has
slight spotting but it is 135years old. The dressing table looks very
impressive, has a good colour & in excellent condition. |

19th Century pitch pine writing table with hand made square section
supports. The table stands on its original castors with white ceramic
wheels attached to the superb hand crafted square section support the
top of the legs having decorative inlay. 2off drawers to the frieze with
figured fronts, the frieze also has decorative supports to each side.
The top has a writing area with a replacement leather skiver with gold
tooling around the edge, the outer edge being trimmed with wood &
a canted moulding with a decoration of contrasting wood. This type of
table is very rare & unusual & eye-catching. The table is in good

opal/cranberry font & a opalene flower topped shade. The base is a
stepped square with a reeded column rising from it with a Corinthian capital.
The font is magnificent, a beautiful piece of Victorian glass that is
a pleasure to look at. The colours of the font start as an opal white
& graduate to a opal & Cranberry mixture. The burner is a genuine
old burner complete with snuffer & chain. The flower topped opalene
shade is decorated with moulded optic spots. the lamp is very attractive
& would brighten up any room. The lamp has been fully overhauled &

double burner oil lamp. The lamp stands on a square weighted base from
the base is a small square plinth on each face of this is applied a lions
mask, above this is one of the most superb columns we have ever offered
the column is twisted in the bottom of each twist stylized decoration
has been pressed into the whole area during manufacture the effect is
very attractive, above the column is a Corinthian capital. the font is
tapering plain to which an excellent burner is fitted The flower topped
shade is frosted slightly & graduated from clear to cranberry &
has panels of acid etched decoration. This is a top quality Victorian

An excellent mid serpentine antique Victorian burr walnut credenza
with a mirror backed top in a carved walnut surround. The credenza stands
on a full with plinth above which are 3off doors the central door has
a mirrored front the door on either side have fretwork fronts with peach
satin material behind, all the doors have carving in the centre. The
centre door is flanked by carved corbels top & bottom the top is
the original marble top again serpentine in shape with a moulded front
edge. The shaped mirrored back ( Mirror replacement) has a well carved
frame with cartouche in the centre. this is a magnificent credenza in

An early 19th Century antique ash & elm Windsor high back armchair with unusual arms similar to a Yorkshire broad arm. The chair is supported on 4ring baluster legs with a turned support "H" stretcher. The top is supported by well turned attractive spindles. The chair has a very a attractive Christmas tree central splat. The chair retains most of it original finish which has been worn away by use in the correct places. This is a very unusual & attractive Windsor armchair in exceptional condition. The chair is the same as C12826 without the turned spindle. We are certain both chair had the same maker. An antique Regency C1820 unusual shaped figured mahogany tea caddy The
shape is basically sarcophagus shape however the sides are all curved.
This superb caddy stands on 4off round elongated feet the base still has
the original fabric to the base. The side carrying handles are typical
regency brass lions mask ring handles. Inside the caddy has 2off small
canisters with figured mahogany lift up lids & a central glass mixing
bowl. the lid inside is in figured mahogany edged in boxwood. The top
is a beautiful shape with a scalloped outer edge then a 4 sided sloping
section which terminates in a figured mahogany rectangle, all edges edged
in ebony. This is a magnificent tea caddy in good condition. Dimensions 12.1/2in wide x 7in deep x 9.1/2in high |

with a shaped back with carved decoration. The whole stands on a small
full width plinth above which are 2off arched doors with fielded mahogany
panels, the doors are full height with false drawers with concave fronts,
either side of the doors are mahogany barley twist decorative columns
which are very attractive. The back is serpentine shaped & has well
carved decoration on the top upper edge. Inside the cavernous cupboard
is a central shelf. This chiffonier/ sideboard is top quality, in its
original condition & is very attractive as well as being very useful.
