An early 19th Century ash & elm Windsor high back armchair with unusual arms similar to a Yorkshire broad arm. The chair is supported on 4ring baluster legs with a turned support "H" stretcher. The top is supported by well turned attractive spindles. The chair has a very a attractive Christmas tree central splat. The chair retains most of it original finish which has been worn away by use in the correct places. This is a very unusual & attractive Windsor armchair in exceptional condition. The chair is the same as C12826 without the turned spindle. We are certain both chair had the same maker. Dimensions Height 43in x 19in wide x 24in wide

A midlands made slat back Windsor chair in original condition, the only
original finish that has been removed is due to the chair being used which
has well patinated the surface. The chair has well turned legs with very
little wear with "H" stretchers for strength. The arm are elm
& are well patinated with age being supported by turned supports at
the front. The back has 2off main supports & 4off slats all joined
at the top by a shaped top rail. The chair is in excellent original condition

A yew-wood early 19th Century Windsor chair in excellent condition.
The wood has faded to a fabulous colour. The seat has had a insert added
at some time but does not detract from the condition. The chair has
a Prince of Wales feathers central splat. The wood on the arms has been
worn silky smooth by use over the years the arm supports are curved.
The legs are a simple taper with some turned decoration near the top.
This is a super yew wood Windsor chair in good condition, no loose joints

slat back windsor chair with a shaped top rail which is supported by stout
side supports with finial decoration. The arms are of figured elm which
also have finial decoration, the arms are supported by attractive bobbin
support which are very unusual on this type of chair. The legs are well
turned with "H" stretchers for strength. The chair is in good
