The font is magnificent, a beautiful piece of Victorian glass that is

& graduate to a opal & Cranberry mixture. The burner is a genuine
old burner complete with snuffer & chain. The flower topped opalene
shade is decorated with moulded optic spots. the lamp is very attractive

A Victorian oil lamp with a replacement frosted
flower topped shade with art nouveau decoration & light green tint
on the top edge. The lamp stands on a superb cast iron square base with
4off feet, This is one of the best quality lamp bases we have seen. Above
the base brass turned column supports the clear font with 14 facets to
which an original double burner is fitted. Above this is the replacement
frosted flower topped shade, with art nouveau decoration etched into the
glass, & a green tint to the top edge. The lamp has been overhauled
with a new wick fitted to our high specification & is safe to use,

A magnificent Victorian duplex oil lamp, the base
being copper plated on brass. The lamp stands on a stepped square weighted
base to which 4off reeded support columns with Corinthian capital at the
top from these a decorative squared area supports the font. The font is
opaque that is graduated in colour, white at the bottom to cranberry at
the top. The burner is a genuine old Victorian double burner with snuffer.
The shade is a genuine old beehive shade with acid etched floral decoration
around the whole shade. The lamp at sometime has been used with electricity
as a hole has been filled in the base (see
image click). The lamp has been professionally overhauled & is

The lamps stand on square stepped bases with square pedestal above with
laurel wreath decoration on each face from this rises a reeded column

decoration on one font than the other at the top. The shades sit on a
decorated gallery & are tulip shaped with a flower top. The colour

A Royal Worcester vase
single burner oil lamp standing on a brass base that is decorated with
stylised flowers etc. The font is superb hand painted with flowers &
leaves the top of the font is shaped this shape has been picked out with
blue & gold. the single burner is secured to the font the shade is
a small baluster shape with a flowered top, during manufacture while the
glass still hot the top 1/4in was folded back onto itself for decoration
as this meant this area was double thickness. we have never seen a shade
with this method of decoration before. The lamp is very attractive it

An unusual pair of "chine" Royal Doulton
oil lamps on three footed brass circular base. The fonts were made by
wrapping the wet finished vase in fabric such as net curtains, this burnt
off during the first firing leaving a pattern this was then decorated.
This method of decoration was invented by the then foreman of the Lambeth
Factory named Slater he & Doulton patented the idea called the Doulton
Slater patent. Above the font is the burner that has the shade support
brackets onto these brackets are fitted opal shades with the frilled outer
edges lined in green . Both lamps are in excellent condition & have
